1st Mediterranean Meeting on Flow Cytometry
We are delighted to announce the inaugural Mediterranean Meeting on Flow Cytometry, a joint congress of the French Cytometry Association (AFC) and the Iberian Society of Cytometry (SIC). Bringing together the SIC 2026 Intercalary Congress and the 29th Annual Congress of the AFC for the very first time, this landmark event takes place at the Granada Exhibition and Conference Center in Granada, Spain.

The program also includes six specialized workshops covering data analysis, spectral cytometry, and imaging cytometry, alongside a commercial exhibition and networking events.
Pre-Conference Event — Sony Spectral User Meeting
Sony Biotechnology will be hosting their 5th Annual European Spectral User Meeting on Tuesday, 24 November 2026 — the day before the main congress opens. This half-day event features scientific talks from distinguished speakers sharing research on the ID7000 Spectral Cell Analyzer and FP7000 Spectral Cell Sorter, and provides an excellent opportunity to connect with the spectral cytometry user community.
Separate registration for this event is required.

Membership of AFC or SIC is required for reduced registration fees. AFC membership is available free of charge for students. French registrants: 10% VAT applies to all fees. The gala dinner is not included in the registration fee (€37 supplement).
Registration fees include: participation in the scientific programme, congress materials, pre-conference workshops, commercial exhibition access, welcome cocktail, 3 lunches, and coffee breaks.
To benefit from reduced fees, consider joining the AFC or SIC before registering.

Abstract Submission & Awards
Abstract submission is open until 29 May 2026. A Young Cytometrist Award is available to support early-career researchers attending the congress.
